Worship

Our Father in heaven,

 Hallowed be your name.

Your kingdom come,

Your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us today our daily bread.

Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.

Save us from the time of trial and deliver us from evil.

For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours now and for ever.

Amen.

We have a few different services of Worship that we hold at St. Mark’s:

We have our traditional Sunday morning service which is typically led by our Deaconess or a visiting minister.

We have Sunday evening service which is a informal prayer and song service.

We have have our monthly Family Church service which is usually held on the first Sunday of every month.

We have St. Mark’s @ Sainsbury’s every second Tuesday where we meet for informal prayer and story session and we invite our families to come along and take part.

We have our Super Group youth group every Wednesday in our halls where our children explore the bible through play, crafts and a life lesson.

For more information on each of our Worship sessions please check out the pages we have relating to each service. (excuse us as we work to improve these pages)

We also take part in several other community led Worship Services throughout the year from the World Day of Prayer to the Remembrance Service which is led by the children of the local schools.

We also have our traditional Pastoral Care that is provided throughout the parish with our Pastoral Care team offering to visit you or your relatives if they are in hospital, please check our page for hospital visits for more information.

The services are typically led by our Deacon and occasionally visiting ministers but our family orientated services are often led by members of our congregation.
