The team behind the Rapoch Street Design Project had it’s first public meeting on Friday 28th September in the Community Campus. This meeting was for the team to discuss who they currently have involved and who else they should have involved as well as look at their plan for how the project is going to progress.
So far the project has had a good response and have collected some information on what the problems are with the targeted area of the project.
The project team are still looking for people’s input on what issues there are in the target area and what people think may help, you can assist them by going to their web survey.
The project team would also appreciate it if more local residents get involved with the consultations and meetings as they want it to be a local led project.
There will be a few events over the coming months, the next event for public involvement will be on 22 November when they will hold a Dr. Bike, cycle repair and service workshop time and location is to be confirmed but to coincide with this event there will also be a public consultation where the team will have maps avaliable and have a interactive planning session so residents can show the team what they think is needed. Once we have a time and location confirmed for these events we will let you all know.
