How to Find Us

St. Mark’s Parish Church is located at the Heart of the Raploch Community on Drip Road. We can easily be found using your Sat Nav by putting in our post code FK8 1RE.

However we know that Sat Navs can be a little bit unreliable and we also appreciate some don’t like to use them oh and we know people use public transport too, so please read on for some directions and public transport information that will help.

By Car

From Edinburgh/Glasgow and Perth

The easiest way to find us by car from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth is to follow signs towards Stirling on the Motorway. Once you are on the M9 please leave the motorway at Junction 10, Craigforth/Kildean.

From Glasgow/Edinburgh (south) you exit onto Craigforth Roundabout please take the 3rd exit (signed Stirling A84). At the Kildean roundabout please take the 2nd exit (signed Forth Valley College).

From Perth (north) you exit onto Kildean roundabout please take the 3rd exit (signed Forth Valley College).

Now that we have got you off the motorway we can direct you easier.

From the Kildean Roundabout you are now on Drip Road, you will approach the Raploch Roundabout please take the 2nd exit (signed Local Traffic) continue along Drip Road, turn left at the Green Block of Flats on the corner of Drip Road/Raploch Road. Please continue along Drip Road and you will find St. Mark’s on the left hand side approx. 500 yards from Raploch Road. Just be aware that St. Mark’s is set slightly back from the road.

From Alloa and East.

Please head for Stirling as directed by signage, once you reach Manor Powis Roundabout please use the exit signed Bridge of Allan, University and A907. Continue along the A907 to Causewayhead Roundabout and take the 1st exit (signed Stirling A9) onto Causewayhead Road. Continue along Causewayhead Road under rail bridge and keep to left to go straight at traffic lights. You then cross the River Forth and at the Customs Roundabout take the 3rd exit (signed Perth M9) continue along to Laurencecroft Roundabout and take 3rd exit (signed Raploch). You should now be on Drip Road continue along Drip Road and we are approx. 500 yards along Drip Road on the right hand side. Just be aware that St. Mark’s is set slightly back from the road.

From Falkirk and Larbert

Please head for Stirling using the A9 through Plean, once you reach the Greencornhills Roundabout take the 2nd exit (signed Bannockburn A9) continue to follow directions for the A9. Once you reach the St. Ninian’s roundabout please take the 3rd exit (signed Perth M9) continue along the A9 until you reach the next roundabout and take the 2nd exit. At this point it is best to take the right hand lane in preparation for the approach to the Craigs Roundabout as at this roundabout you require the middle lane, once at the Craigs Roundabout you need to take the 3rd exit onto the Dual Carriageway (A9), continue along the road until you reach the Customs roundabout and take the 2nd exit. (signed Perth M9) continue along to Laurencecroft Roundabout and take 3rd exit (signed Raploch). You should now be on Drip Road continue along Drip Road and we are approx. 500 yards along Drip Road on the right hand side. Just be aware that St. Mark’s is set slightly back from the road.

Train or Bus Stations

St. Mark’s is approximately 1 mile from Stirling train and bus stations which is regularly served by services from all over the country.

To get to St. Mark’s from the Train or Bus Station we have a few options.

Walk/Cycle

We are approximately a 20 minute walk from the stations, from the bus station walk towards the train station (just along the road). From the train station turn right out the station and head towards the Travel Lodge continue past the Travel Lodge and take the first right onto Wallace Street, continue along Wallace Street to the end of the street and enter the underpass at the Customs Roundabout, continue to follow the path past the Clock Tower and continue straight across and again under the road heading towards Stirling Bridge. Once at Stirling Bridge turn left and walk towards Baynes Bakers cross over Laurencecroft Road (be aware this can be a busy area) into Ramsey Place walk along Ramsey Place and onto Drip Road then continue along drip road for approx. 500 yards and we are on the right.

Taxi

There is a Taxi rank outside Stirling Train Station and this normally has several Taxis available.

Bus

You can easily get to St. Mark’s by bus there are 2 services that regularly serve stops near St. Mark’s these are the 57 Raploch service and the 59 Calander service. These services run regularly from the Bus Stances opposite Stirling Train Station on Goosecroft Road. Please check with First Bus for the latest timetables for the services.

If you are getting the 57 Raploch service ask for Ferguson Street this stop is a short walk from St. Mark’s. Once at this stop coming off the bus turn left head to the end of the street and St. Mark’s is just across Menzies Drive.

If you are getting the 59 Calander service ask for Raploch Community Campus, the bus will pass St. Mark’s and it stops just along Drip Road just walk back to the church from the stop.
